Audi has been absent from selling the hatchback version of the A3 in the U.S. for some time. However, there’s a new iteration in Europe known as the A3 Allstreet that we believe would seamlessly blend into the American market. Embracing the popular trend of extra body cladding and a lifted suspension, the Allstreet mirrors the formula and aesthetic of vehicles like the Subaru Crosstrek a lifted version of the Subaru Impreza hatchback yet introduces a touch of sophistication to the mix.

The Allstreet boasts a 0.6-inch higher ride height compared to the standard A3, with Audi emphasizing that the springs and shocks have been fine-tuned to provide a softer ride for enhanced comfort. The suspension lift, coupled with larger wheels and tires, contributes to a 1.2-inch increase in ground clearance. Completing the subtly rugged aesthetic are roof rails, black plastic body cladding, and color-matched accents within the interior. For those looking to add an extra layer of versatility, an optional tow hitch is also available.

In Europe, the A3 Allstreet will be available with both gasoline and diesel engines. Upon its release in Germany this month, it will be priced €1800 higher than the standard A3 Sportback. It’s worth noting that Audi already offers two Allroad station wagons in the U.S. with a comparable treatment. However, there are no immediate expectations for the A3 Allstreet to make its way to America in the near future.
